Testimonials
Great Place to be
KIPPRA has played a key role in shaping Kenya’s public policy by providing research-based insights that guide government institutions and policymakers. As a private sector stakeholder, I have benefited from their policy dialogues and publications, aligning business strategies with national goals. KIPPRA’s focus on evidence-based policymaking has significantly impacted Kenya’s development path.
Growth as a researcher
I was a YP at KIPPRA, that is 2023/2024 cohort, I got to learn a lot through the program. It was a 1 year program where we were taught issues pertaining understanding public policy, making process and including major players at different stages. This program also help me to build my research capabilities since it exposes me to different research methods and methodologies.
You will learn a lot
The Young Professional Program helped me develop essential skills, including communication. I learned how verbal communication translates to written forms, especially in delivering evidence-based policies through policy briefs, research papers, and information notes. Additionally, the program enhanced my teamwork skills by collaborating with peers to produce publications like blogs and research papers.
